Comic Strips

I love making comic strips.  It's something I've been doing since I was in elementary school.  I would put together short comic books in class.  I'm kind of glad I don't have any of them anymore, they're probably too embarrassing for any eyes to see!  It wasn't until high school when I started leaning more toward humor with my comics, and would draw them on a daily basis while in class.

Nowadays I'm trying to get back to some of the good ones so that I can redo them.  Maybe I'll put them together in a book or something.

Here are some comic strips I sketched the other night.  A ballpoint pen was used, no pencils at all, so I'm pretty lucky I didn't mess up too badly on them.

This last sketch actually got me to do more with it and put together a finished version.  I'm working on it now, using traditional materials.  I really missed using inks and watercolors.  I'll post a link to the final painting whenever it gets finished.
